Check that both quotes answer the same question
One proposal may cover an inspection while another includes treatment. Write down the named pest, property areas and tasks in each. If identification is not yet confirmed, ask what happens if the findings point to a different concern.
Separate included work from possible extras
Ask whether monitoring, return visits and entry-point repairs are part of the price. If repairs are separate, find out who would arrange them. The same applies to furniture handling, specialist access or areas outside the occupied unit. A clear scope is more useful than an assumption.
Understand any follow-up or guarantee
If a guarantee is offered, read its duration, conditions and exclusions. Confirm how to report continued activity and whether another visit would carry a charge. Do not assume that a broad marketing phrase answers these practical questions.
Keep the agreement with your preparation instructions
Save the written proposal, agreed appointment and preparation details together. Check that the property address and responsible contact are correct. If availability or access changes, confirm the revised arrangement before the work begins.
