Compare the current pattern with the earlier one

Write down where roaches appeared before and where you see them now. Record whether sightings became less frequent, stopped for a period or moved to another room. “Still seeing insects” is less useful than a dated account of the locations and changes.

Bring the earlier treatment details

Keep any written instructions, invoice and product names available. Explain what preparation was completed and any areas that could not be accessed. These details help the next conversation; they do not establish on their own whether a previous service was appropriate.

Discuss the surroundings

Tell the service contact about leaks, visible gaps and repeated activity around appliances or stored food. Include signs in shared spaces if relevant. A report should describe what you can observe rather than assigning the source to another resident or business.

Agree how further sightings will be handled

Ask when to report additional activity, what information to send and whether a return visit is included. Confirm which parts of the property are covered. Written expectations make it easier to understand the next step if activity continues.
