Start with the outdoor space
Describe the yard, seating area or other location where activity is noticed. NYC Health notes that mosquitoes lay eggs in slow-moving or standing water. Include water-holding containers or drainage concerns you have observed without assuming every source lies within your property.
Ask for the boundaries of the proposal
Confirm which areas are included, what preparation is required and how future visits are handled if offered. Personal bite protection and property work serve different purposes. A service should not be represented as eliminating all mosquitoes or preventing illness.
Does outdoor treatment cover neighboring land?
The proposal should identify the areas where access and authorization are available. Discuss concerns beyond your boundary without assuming they are included.
