The location tells part of the story
A damp cabinet, a food cupboard and a window attract attention for different reasons. Describe the insect, where it gathers and whether sightings are isolated or repeated.
- Trails near doors, windows or food storage
- Roaches around plumbing or appliances
- Insects in dry food, cupboards or damp areas
Cockroaches and recurring kitchen activity
Food residue, moisture and sheltered gaps can sustain roach activity. Keep stored food sealed and report leaks. Tell Swift if several rooms or neighboring units are affected.
Ants and other crawling insects
Note where a trail begins and what is nearby. Ants, silverfish and spiders are different concerns; a clear photograph may help with identification, but the surroundings matter too.
Flying and pantry insects
Mention whether activity is near a drain, window, waste area or stored food. Keep the affected location in your notes instead of assuming every flying insect needs the same treatment.
Should I empty the cupboards before a visit?
Wait for preparation instructions for the proposed service. Describe which cupboards or rooms are affected when you get in touch.
